Uh...Yeah..Erm...Scary Much? || Open || « Thread Started on Nov 9, 2007, 5:43pm »
Pansy was bored as heck. She didn't feel like reading. She didn't feel like doing homework. She didn't feel like looking for someone to talk to. So, she decided to be adventerous. Pansy started on her way to the grounds. Once she was there, she headed in the direction of the Whomping Willow. Pansy hated that tree. She didn't know why. Just she and it never got along.
Once Pansy reached the willow, she stood at a safe distance and gave it an evil stare. "Okay. If you try anything while I am here, you will have to pay." Pansy has ended up in the Hospital Wing a few times because of the tree. She took out her wand and pointed it toward the tree. "Immobilius." Pansy nodded in accomplisment and gave the tree a smile. "See. If you just listen to me, no one gets hurt." Pansy walked past the willow and into the secret passage.
Pansy walked up the stairs and into the one room of the Shreiking Shack. She hated it up here. Not because it was haunted, but because of the heights and the swaying illiusion. Pansy and heights weren't the best of friends. Therefore, she didn't like it up here. But, being as bored as she was, Pansy was having a bit of fun. She walked over to the window and looked out. It had a great view of the setting sun. Pansy knelt down. She rested her elbows on the window sill and her head in her elbows as she watched the sunset.

It was the one place he could find privacy. Something of his own little sanctuary, to say the least. He flipped another page of his novel, convinced that he wouldn't be bothered in here. After all, one had to figure out how to stop that blasted whomping willow in order to get in here, since the normal enterance was chained up, and quite cumbersome to open, even with a wand.
He paused in his reading a moment, hearing someone moving about on the lower level. Marvolo rolled his eyes. Was it another couple seeking to make whoopee or something? Honestly, teenagers these days had no restraint! Of course, he was the one talking. He was going to be an uncle in a few months. But that didn't matter, he intended on spoiling any child his sister had rotten, after murdering the moron who got her pregnant in the first place.
Marvolo decided that he had been put in a foul enough mood by that thought, and made his way through the halls, peeking into a room and seeing just a single person there. She must have come up the stairs when he was thinking about how he would destroy the bane of his existance, and spoil his new neice or nephew at the same time.
"Pardon me..." Marvolo said, his anger dissapating somewhat. After all, he had an image to uphold as a charming gentleman right?

Pansy heard something above her. Some kind of movement. Pansy has forgotten all about the ghosts, and right now wasn't the best time for the thoughts of them to come creeping into her head. However, they did. Pansy stiffened, not wanting anything to come down to where she was and hurt her. Even though Pansy practically lives with ghosts at Hogwarts, she was still afraid of them.
A feeling in Pansy's stomach gave her the feeling that she was not alone. And, a voice behind her confirmed that feeling. Pansy jumped slightly. However, the voice she heard didn't sound like one that would kill her. She slowly turned around and saw that there was no ghost, just a person. She has seen this person before, they were in the same house at school, but she has never really talked to him. "Erm...Hey?" She said unsurely.

Marvolo arched an eyebrow. The girl was unusually tense. He didn't care though. As of right now, she was no one to him. Of course, making friends wouldn't hurt anything. His mother did want him to be more social. He noticed the girl wearing the emblem of Slytherin House. Well then, at least she was someone of proper breeding. He had heard that there was a mudblood among their lot. Perhaps this girl was it?
No...she just didn't fit the description of the mousy, yet slightly attractive girl. She was pretty, but looks could be deciving. After all, Marvolo looked kind, but he was quite vicious when he got in a foul mood. He had came here to eleviate some stress with a good dark novel, but found himself instead dealing with another trying to get away from the stresses of daily life.
"Marvolo Rutherford." He said, bowing politely. He had an odd habbit of doing that as of late. Perhaps since he was trying to fit the bill of a respectful young lad? Either way, it was something that was now as natural as breathing.

Pansy studied this guy. Was he someone she could befriend? Pansy loved making friends, but only with those she knew would be worth it. The fact that he was in Slytherin had an impact on her decision. Pansy liked most Slytherins. She just didn't like the annoying ones, or that Mudblood.
Hermione Granger. Pansy didn't like her very much. It wasn't because Pansy was jealous. That is usually the first thing that pops into people's minds. Pansy is jealous of Granger because Draco Malfoy likes her. However, that is nowhere near the reason why she doesn't like Granger. Pansy couldn't care less about who Draco has been dating. Yes, Pansy used to have a minor crush on him. But, she has let go and is now looking for someone who can love her.
Pansy looked at this boy weirdly when he bowed. "Pansy Parkinson." She said, just succeeding in holding back her laughter. She knew she shouldn't be laughing, or thinking about laughing. He was just being polite, but she couldn't help it. She has never been bowed to before, with the exception of by house elves. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Marvolo." She said politely, with a soft smile.
