Blair had been sitting out at the Black Lake for sometime now. Everything that had been happening to her replaying in her mind over and over again. Her father somehow managing to become a Professor at Hogwarts. Her supposively fiancee transferring to keep her from Draco. Becoming pregnant with Draco's kid and not being able to be with them. Then lastly the news that her twin brother had transferred to Hogwarts as well all played in circles in her mind. The only thing that brought a smile to her face was the news about Marvolo. No matter how alone she felt she knew she had him and right now she was thankful for that mre then anything.
Wrapping her one arm around her legs drawing them in closer to her as her other hand stayed placed on her tiny stomach she rested her chin on her knees and gazed out over the lake. She couldn't wait to see her brother. To talk to him and spill everything to him and to just have him around. They had the misfortune of loosing each other when their father fell after attempting to kill Harry Potter and those years had been the longest years of Blair's life. She had grown up under the constant care of Narcissa Malfoy and Bella Lestrange until Bella got put away in Akzaban leaving her under the care of just Narcissa. She was however lucky enough to know who her father was because of Lucius and the Malfoy's being devoted to him and she occansionally got to see him but it was never for very long.
Sighing softly to herself she closed her eyes and allowed the soft nosies of the night brush past her, easing her since she hadn't been sleeping or eating very well lately due to the small person creating inside her. She couldn't help but wonder what Marvalo would think and just hoped he wouldn't be mad or disgusted by her. That would probably tare her apart and she knew she couldn't handle that right now with her hormones causing her emotions to run amuck. Hearing distant footsteps Blair opened her eyes wondering just who else could be out this late at night as she was in no mood for a duel or unfortunate meeting.

"They say that if you stare at a lake for too long, you'll go insane." Marvolo said with a noticible german accent to his voice. The young man removed his hands from his pockets and gave Blair a hug. He had found the missing peice in his life with his sister. Now he was whole and able to protect what had quickly become most precious to him. The dark prince plopped down on the grass, pulling out his wand and fiddling with it.
"It has been a while since we have talked, dearest sister." She was younger by a few moments, which gave Marvolo some satisfaction. It would be strange to be the younger brother and overprotective. Usually the older sibling defended the younger one, or at least, that was how it worked in the novels. A hissing noise was heard as Zeus came out from the folds of Marvolo's cloak. The snake was still young, only about nine months old, and it relied heavily on his master.
"I have missed you."

Smiling when she saw it was her brother she laughed softly at his comment. "Surely if we can survive being remotely sane with our father then staring into the lake won't harm me." She smiled hugging him back. Not wanting to let him go since when he hugged her he made her feel less alone she sighed and reluctantly released from his hug. "You know that accent of yours is going to drive the ladies here wild right?" She teased smiling brightly at him.
"It has been a while... too long." Blair sighed looking back out at the lake. Turning her head at the sound of a hissing noise she noticed a small snake coming from inside her brothers cloak. "Awe! How cute!" She nearly squealed brushing her finger gently down the soft creature. "When did you get him? What's its name?" She asked looking up into her brothers eyes. "Merlin more like father." She teased in a joking tone. "I've missed you too! Its been aweful without you around." She sighed once again. "But thats another subject whats new with you?" She asked him still curious as to why he was really here at Hogwarts.

Marvolo rubbed Zeus's head and flopped back on the grass, looking up at the gray sky. He almost chuckled at the comment made about their father. He certainly was someone that was hard to understand, and even easier to presume insane. The young man had come here for a single reason, to ensure the safety of his sister. Marvolo was done with his schooling, and classified a genius, but that didn't mean he couldn't fake being normal. He chuckled when she mentioned his accent. "Perhaps I should learn to speak like english folk..."
He looked up at Blair and smiled softly. "I came here to keep you safe." He said simply. Sure, she might chide him for his brotherly affection, but she was someone he could protect, someone he had to keep safe. Marvolo sat up and pulled out a bit of grass, watching as it automatically grew back. "Plus I was somewhat curious as to what Hogwarts was like...it is far different from Durmstrang."
"I've been fine. Talked to mother a lot. She wants me to learn occulemency and legimency." He said softly. If he learned those things, he could be stronger, but he would also become more like his father, something he apidimized.

Laughing as her brother flopped back on the grass Blair shook her head at him. "That accent suits you dear brother, if you started talking like the english folk your uncanning resemableance to father would just grow." She teased laughing shortly. Laying down next to him she rested her head on his chest and sighed heavily. It felt nice to have her brother at her side. He was one guy that she knew no matter what went on in her life she could rely on and when she teased him about their father it was just simple teasing because she knew that he was far better then their father.
Hearing why he was there she smiled and turned her head to look up at him. "Do you think I need protecting dear brother?" Blair asked smiling at him. "The thought is sweet though and I could deffinately use you here now of all times." She sighed gently closing her eyes not wanting to think about all the problems that were ahead of her. "Do you like it so far?" She asked him curiously. "Though I am not sure Hogwarts is big enough for two princes." She joked opening her brown eyes back up and smiling at him.
"Thats great Marvolo!" Blair smiled sincerely. "Will father be teaching your or mum?" She asked him rolling over onto her stomach and placing her chin in her hands. "Or perhaps Snape? Or even Lucius?" She asked naming of those who she knew were of loyality to their father and someone he would consider okay to teach his son. "It feels odd. One more we are all at seperate schools and places then suddenly we are all under one roof." Blair remarked.

Only Blair could mention his resemblence to father without reprocussion. He cared too much for her to even get mad at her. He wondered sometimes, what the two were like a long time ago, back when they were infants. Of course, such memories were lost to him, burried deep beneath his mind in the sands of time. Marvolo gently patted his sister's head, as he looked out at the lake once more.
"If anything upsets you Blair...I'll put an end to it." He said softly. "That goes mainly for boys...any boy troubles...you come to me. Boys are stupid and rude and vile." He said, looking at her for a breif moment. "I intend to protect you, always and forever." He stated simply. It was a known fact that Blair was someone important to him, perhaps the most important thing.
"I don't care who teaches me, as long as they do it properly. But I doubt father will. You know how he gets about his memories." Their father was the most secretive person Marvolo could think of. He had amazing pride, and wouldn't even admit his faults, though they were numerous. Marvolo intended on finding each and every weakness his father harbored and would pick him apart, peice by peice. But in order to do so, he had to best his father, become stronger, all while keeping this a secret from him.

A small soft laughter rolled off Blair's lips when he patted her head and she shook her head at him. "Your a far better man then father, never forget that." She smiled wanting to make sure that he knew that though she teased him about their resemblances he would always be better then their father in her eyes. "Not all boys are, you aren't. Well to me at least." Blair stated. "But thank you. The only guy upsetting me right now is father." She sighed shrugging her shoulders and looking down at the grass. She didn't want him to feel that he needed to fight her battles with their father.
"He has me promised to someone I don't even know because Draco went and screwed up and dated that Granger girl." Blair grumbled picking away a few strands of grass. "Then to top it all off he had him transferred here so that he could keep an eye on me and keep me away from Draco when I am suppose to be helping Draco get back onto course." She sighed since it was all rather confusing. "I've managed to avoid him quite well. Being Head Girl gives me that advantage but merlin he is going to catch up with me one of these times." She remarked about Kadien. Bitting her bottom lip she rose her big brown eyes to look into his. "What would you think or say if I told you you were going to be an Uncle?" She asked him cautiously, feeling slightly sick all over again.
Rolling her eyes she nodded her head. "This is true. Knowing him he'll probably make Severus do it." She told her brother. "Either that or Lucius. Either way you'll be great I'm sure." Blair smiled. "You know if you ever need anything I am there for you right?" She asked him curiously. He had always been there for her and she wanted to return the favor. After all without her brother she'd have no real family since no one really knew how much longer their father would hold onto his power and their mum was certain to fall with him.

Marvolo's smile remained in place as she compaired him to his father. He knew he was better, but knowing things and actually proving them were quite different concepts. A wise person was one who knew the extent of their own ignorance, which is why Marvolo did his best to keep his mind open to new concepts. That way, he could learn new things without the close-mindedness that adults had.
His small vanished completely as he heard her utter words he wouldn't expect from her for several years. He was going to be an uncle? Prepostorous! That meant that his sister had to have....oh gods...she had relations with another man! Marvolo felt himself flair up in anger at the thought. His precious little sister's flower had been plucked...she wasn't pure.
No. Mustn't put blame on her. It might have happened via non-consensual relations. But she seemed somewhat satisfied about it. Was his sister going to marry the moron who had done this to her? Didn't teenagers use protection? He felt like exploding on the spot, but he couldn't bring himself to do that to Blair. He cared for her too much.
Marvolo was able to choke out a reply. "U-Uncle?" He let out, his head reeling. "Does...does father know?" Woe betide the man who had done this to her. "Who is the father? Are you going to marry him? Do you need financial help? I have a load saved up in Gringots, and I've invested money...if you need anything..I'll be here." Well, one thing was certain, when she had the child, he was going to spoil it rotten.

Her brown eyes watched as the smile that was once on his lips disappeared and she bite the inside of her cheek. Her brother had never yelled at her, they had never actually truly fought. Sure they might have little tiffs but they meant nothing and were over nothing. However she wasn't so sure that this would end with the same result. Swallowing as she waited for him to say something, anything really she sat up and wrapped her arms around her legs. Resting her head on her knees she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and continued to look down at him. Her hormones were wrecking havoc on her body so even the little slightest of doubt that she saw in him may make her cry but she was doing her best to hold it in.
Hearing his choked out reply Blair closed her eyes and sighed. Nodding her head she opened her eyes and looked back up at him. Laughing softly at his on slaughter of questions she smiled weakly at him. "Thanks for the offer Marvolo but I am fine financially as will the baby be." She licked her suddenly dry lips. "Father knows, he found out just shortly after I did." She sighed remembering the horrid night in his office. "Father wants me to marry Kadien so if he has his way then no I won't be marrying the father..." Blair trailed off looking away from him. "Its Draco." She sighed heavily and shook her head unable to prevent the tears that rolled down her cheeks. "But he has his title and rank to gain back with father so he is doing what he must." She muttered quietly. "I can't do this on my own." She sobbed hugging her legs closer to her body.

Marvolo felt like he was in turmoil. He should have noticed something was wrong with his sister. He wasn't as in tune with her as he should have been, and that only caused him to become angrier at himself. He would need to find a satisfying and creative way to rid himself of this pent up stress. Perhaps he would go to the forest and kill some rats. No...such things did nothing for him. The best athsetic to his temper was a good book and a nice hot cup of Earl Grey.
Marvolo was stunned that his father had learned of this, yet mentioned not a thing to him. What if his mother knew as well? He had a knack for being the last to know of things, and such stress only added to his growing headache. He grumbled incoherently for a moment, causing Zeus to stirr and hiss somewhat worriedly. Marvolo gently stroked the snake and took a big breath. He needed to calm down.
"Well...do you love this Draco boy?" Malfoy...he knew that name. They were a family linked to theirs by service to his father. Marvolo wouldn't stand for his sister to marry anyone other than the baby's father. He rose to his feet and knelt down beside her, his face now reflecting concern. "I'll always be here for you Blair. I owe you so much time...we've been apart, and now that we're together, not even Aurors would keep me away from you."

Feeling foolish for crying in front of her brother she wipped the tears away. She hated what this pregnancy was already doing to her, she was always strong and had hardly ever cried but now she could break down in tears over nothing. Sighing she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and looked over at Marvolo. Bitting her bottom lip over his question about Draco Blair softly nodded her head. "He's had my heart ever since I came here for the Triwizard Tournament." She said quietly.
"Father of course doesn't believe me because he doesn't believe love exsists but I do Marvolo." Blair added and shook her head. Smiling softly at his words she hugged him thankful that he was there. "Thank you Marvolo. That means a lot to me." She said softly smiling up at him. "I don't know if Draco can or will be around, he has his girls to attend too." Blair sighed quickly tossing her hair up into a messy ponytail.

Marvolo nodded. Love did exist, as much as he adamantly wanted to deny it. His sister was living proof of that. She was the one thing in the world that he would die to protect. Marvolo sighed and rubbed his temples once more. All this talk of boys and babies made his migrane throb. He chuckled softly and gave his sister a small hug before sitting back.
"If you really care about him, you should be with him." He said sternly. He was about to lay down again when she mentioned that the guy had other girls. He sat up bolt straight. "What? So you're saying that he has other girls, besides you?" He looked quite furious now, his brow furrowed. "Oh...that is so going to change. I'll have a little talk with him. Draco Malfoy, is it?" He said, doing a quick check in his own memory. Malfoy was the only Draco that came up.
"I'll have a talk with him and straighten him out. If he is indeed your baby's father, then he'd better devote his every waking minute to making you happy..." He said icily.

Sighing softly Blair knew that his words were right but so many things made it so complicated. "I can't be because father..." She trailed off licking her lips. Cringing at the look on his face she placed her hand carefully on his hand. "Draco Malfoy is the Slytherin Prince Marvolo. He gets girls whenever he wants them whatever he wants them for then he is done with them." She told her brother. "Or at least that is who he use to be until Granger. Now father wants him back that way... no matter what." Blair sighed running her hand through her hair.
Hearing the icy tone in his voice Blair shivered and looked over into his eyes. "He wants to be with me, I think. But he has to do this Marvolo or father will never forgive him." She bite her bottom lip. "Then I'll have to do this alone because I am not marrying that prat McCallister." She stated firm and sternly. She didn't care what happened to him she wasn't marrying him and that was finally in her mind. She'd avoid him her entire life if that is what it took but she knew she was thankful to have Marvolo and Draco who would do anything to keep her safe.
